I spy tiny tomatoes! What joy to my dad's ears. The anticipation is tough on the old guy. I keep telling him we are the lucky ones.
Living in the LA area has its advantages. Yes we have traffic, but we also get to plant our tomatoes in March. Around here we plant them when baseball season starts (or preseason if you dare). The earlier the better, unless it freezes. If we get them established early before the heat rages, they will thrive. I planted mine in early March.
At this point in the season my tallest tomatoes are chest high already. Oh, the luscious plants are going crazy!
